Jack Kirby talk at the London Super Comic Convention March 15th & 16th 2014

I'm a guest at the London Super Comic Convention in a couple of weeks (March 15th and 16th), giving a talk on the legend that was Jack "King" Kirby at 5 o'clock on the Saturday.

“You Don’t Know Jack?”
Author & artist Russell Payne (BBC’s Morris Telford) will be representing the Jack Kirby Museum and Research Centre and presenting a talk exploring the enormous impact Kirby’s creations still have on modern culture. The King of Comics was arguably the most influential and prolific artist in the history of comics, if you don’t know Kirby, you don’t know Jack!

LSCC schedule

If you're already attending LSCC come along and listen, if you're not attending LSCC, then buy a ticket, come along and listen. I'll also be sitting behind a table somewhere plugging the Jack Kirby museum, mention the secret prize phrase "You look so much thinner in real life" and I'll give you a sticker.

I also have a small number of prints of my digital Jack Kirby composite portrait. An A3 high res print of legendary comicbook creator and artist Jack Kirby's face made up from thousands of comic covers that Jack drew over his long career. £10 each signed.
